CONGRATULATIONS

We are very proud to announce that our Founding CEO Steven McCluskey has won a Pride of Scotland 2023 Special Recognition Award on behalf of Bikes for Refugees (Scotland).

Steven stated ‘this award is a fantastic recognition of the hardwork, dedication and support of many, many people who have helped the wheels go round since our conception six years ago as a charity with over 2200 bikes refurbished, distributed and New Scots refugees supported. A big thanks goes to our small band of staff, many volunteers, fundraisers and funders, bike donators, partners, and many community friends who have become an integral part of the BfR family. The real heros of this story are of course the many courageous New Scots refugees and asylum seekers that we have been honoured and humbled to meet over the years’
